My name is Lottie, and I was born in the year the UN declared the International Year of the Potato, Hygiene, Languages, Coral Reefs, and Frogs. (Yes, I looked it up on Wikipedia. Seriously, frogs?) As far as nationality goes, I’m Hungarian, which means English isn’t my first language (and not even my second… ahem… German), so apologies in advance for any grammatical mistakes, I’m still learning 🙂
As long as I can remember, literature has always been a huge part of my life. Socializing and making new friends has never been easy for me, but whenever I felt lonely, I always knew I could open a book and get lost in a world of my own. I can’t name the book that got me into reading, because this passion started so early that I can’t even remember the first novel I read.
When I’m not reading, I love spending my time writing stories, watching movies, listening to music, chilling with my cat, playing board games and chess (even though I’m a completely hopeless chess player). Oh, and drinking tea. Lots of tea.
